Restoration
We specialize in Wood Restoration and Christies have worked on many pubs in Dublin that were interested in a restoration, retaining the character of a Traditional Irish Pub. In the gallery you will see pictures from Nancy Hans pub near Phoenix Park in Dublin, Ryans of James Street, The Old Mill in Tallaght, Ryans of Parkgate, The Lower Deck Portabello, and many others.
The work at these pubs was to choose the materials to suit the job and maintain the character of the pub. This work could not be accomplished with new wood but required the expertise and knowledge of someone who knows Antique timber. In some cases we choose Antique Oak, Antique Pine, or Pitched Pine.
Ryan’s of Parkgate was looking for a special floor. For them we had our craftsmen construct a 3-D parquet floor which has a special effect. We suspect that it might be even a bit more deceptive after the end of the evening of Guinness! .jpg)
